Royal Scottish National Orchestra – Astar
For years, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra has provided recordings of its music as part of the Scottish Baby Box scheme—initially on CD, then later via an app that played a selection of tracks.
In 2021 the RSNO asked us to completely revamp their Astar music player app. By combining the RSNO’s lush recordings with lively animations of colourful dancing animals, we created a captivating product that lets parents introduce their babies to the wonderful world of classical music.
We created a full content management system to allow the RSNO team to easily add new tracks, select which animals dance to them, synchronise the animations to the music and upload lyrics so that parents and kids can sing along.
Since launch, the app has received 5-star ratings and excellent reviews.
