We use a tool called Google Analytics to record user interactions for some of our apps and on the Ping website (pingcreates.com). This information includes but is not exclusive to user page views, user interactions and user usage time.
The information gathered from Google Analytics is used to improve the Ping website and apps. In some cases we provide Ping clients with data specific to their app to improve the experience for their customers. All our apps supporting Google Analytics include the ability to turn this functionality ON or OFF.
- All information is anonymous.
- We do not collect any personal information about the users of our apps.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so that we can remove the information in question.
LINKS WITHIN APPS
Some apps have external links to the Ping website, to partner sites where applicable to functionality or to Ping social media channels where users can find out more about our company and our services.
We do not include any links to external sites in our apps intended for use by children under the age of 5.
One of our apps “Creative Creature” includes advertising provided by third parties via the Apple Ad network.
All our other apps do not include advertising.
All our apps intended for use by children under the age of 5 do not contain any third party advertising.
We do not allow advertising companies to collect data through our service for ad targeting.
We use geo-location technology in some of our apps to get your precise geographic location and enhance the app expeience.
We do not use or store your geo-graphic location on our own systems or devices.
All our apps include a prompt on first use so that a user can choose whether to allow the use of geo-location.
When enabled geo-location is stored locally on the users mobile devices.
We do not use geo-location in any apps intended for use by children under the age of 5.
Our apps do not currently contain any In-App Purchases.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or device when you visit a website. Cookies are used by all websites, and have several different functions.
At a basic level cookies will:
- Allow the site to work correctly.
- Help us understand how people use the website.
- Make the site easier to use by remembering information that you’ve entered
- Add content from other websites e.g. Google Maps, Vimeo, YouTube
