Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) wanted a website to coincide with their short breaks campaign in 2013. CalMac required the creation of a website to increase sales of unique short breaks and day trips in Scotland.
We built a website to showcase each individual day trip using high resolution photography. The responsive nature of the site made it more effective on mobile. With integrated site analytics, CalMac could monitor the success of the advertising campaign accurately.
The website effectively integrated with CalMac’s wider campaign and promoted their short breaks and day trips to a national audience. This was supported by an 82% increase in new site visitors the weekend after launch, with over 1000 visits in the same period post launch.
